When Jackie and Katharine were eight and ten years old, they secretly set out with their own money to find and buy the perfect puppy. When their eyes met those of a nine-week-old Wire-haired Fox Terrier, the search was over, the sale was made, and the sisters christened the dog, Bentley.
Bentley was a playful and loveable addition to the household and he quickly became buddies with the other pets in residence. But when it came time for the family to cook up a batch of one of their traditional popcorn recipes, Bentley was first in the kitchen and with one purpose in mind! For Bentley, there was no greater pleasure than indulging in the family’s homemade popcorn. Did he prefer Toffee Caramel over Almond? Butter Pecan over Honey Roasted? He made no distinction; Bentley loved them all.

After much urging from friends and other popcorn lovers, the family decided to share their popcorn tradition in a much larger way. It was only natural that their venture to market America’s Finest Popcorn be launched with Bentley’s name and image adorning the flagship brand.
